Every plan includes all of CutDetectorPro: detection, review, text extraction, every export format and the Hiero integration. The only difference is how many machines you can activate.
Licenses can be deactivated and reactivated at any time.

Questions¶
Can I try it first?
Yes. Without a license key CutDetectorPro runs in demo mode: everything works except the export features. Download it and see for yourself.
What is an activation?
An activation ties your license key to one computer. A license with 4 activations can run on 4 computers at the same time.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes. Deactivate the old machine from Help → Deactivate License... and activate the new one.
How does renewal work?
Your license is a yearly subscription, handled by our payment provider Lemon Squeezy, and it renews automatically. About a week before it renews, you get a reminder email.
You can cancel (or resume) any time in the customer portal. If you cancel, your license keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for. After that it expires (see below).
What if a renewal payment fails?
The payment is retried automatically, four times over two weeks. Each time it fails you get an email asking you to update your billing details, and your license keeps working in the meantime.
If the last attempt also fails, the subscription ends and the license expires. An expired license can't be reactivated: all of its activations become invalid and you need to buy a new license.
What happens in the app when my license expires?
CutDetectorPro checks your license online about once a week, so it can take up to a week to notice. Then it tells you that your license has expired and switches to demo mode. Everything except exporting keeps working, and you can buy a new license at any time to unlock exporting again. See Install & Activate.
